Step 1

The first step after an estimate is agreed upon is to photograph the house or to obtain reference from the client, especially if the location is not nearby.

Step 2

After photographing the home and conferring with my client I develop a tentative black and white sketch, which may include color swatches.

Step 3

Working in shapes and values and a lot of the landscape, I would share this step with my client for review and approval. At this point many changes can still be made.

Step 4

Filling in the shadows and finalizing the details, I would submit this to my client for approval, with small revisions still possible.

The final painting is delivered with a matte, and I can provide help with framing as well.
