House Portrait Commissions

Sometimes a house is not just a home...

I currently accept commissions for house portraits, and other types of paintings.

If you love your house the way many people do, you may want to add a picture above your mantelpiece along with all of those portraits ! That new portrait could be an original watercolor.

I love to paint architectural detail and will be faithful to the individuality of your home. However your painting can be a departure from reality. Perhaps you would like to render your house in another era, in a different color, a different season or from a viewpoint that is currently obscured by trees. No problem !

I can make alterations to what actually exists to create a painting that is warm, dynamic and inviting, and I will keep you in the loop during the process, giving you the chance to preview the painting in progress.

I can work from your photos, or photograph your home myself, at an additional charge, as long as you live near Essex County, New Jersey.

House portraits begin at $400 plus tax and delivery, and require at least six weeks notice.
